Here we go again... It is Tuesday night and I kinda feel like writing in English. Is that weird, maybe it is. Was solls, hab grad ein wenig Zeit, Shayna ist mal sofort eingeschlafen...unglaublich, aber wahr :)
Und Fieber hat sie auch keins mehr, d.h. morgen kann sie wieder in die Schule woohooo!!! Keine Überstunden mehr für mich!
Heute war ich zum ersten Mal im Leben beim Tai Chi, war äußerst interessant und gut getan hats auch, werd wohl nächste Woche wieder hingehn. Morgen gehts dann wie gewohnt zum Body Pump, that is something I absolutely LOVE!! und am Donnerstag heißt es dann Pilates und Malen :) Ich muss mir nur noch irgendwas überlegen was ich als Vorlage mitnehme, noch nen Stillleben muss nicht sein. Ich denke dieses Mal halte ich mich eher an etwas Impressionistisches hahaha...
Ich hab euch ja gar nicht erzählt, dass ich am Samstag gefühlte vier Stunden oder so bei Barnes and Noble verbracht habe, war total cool. Das ist sone Buchladenkette und die haben hier ne recht große Filiale bei uns. Da ist alles schon ganz weihnachtlich geschmückt und ich bin voll in Weihnachtsstimmung gekommen. Bald ist ja auch Thanksgiving, darauf freu ich mich schon. Ok auf Weihnachten natürlich noch mehr denn das werd ich ja mit meiner family verbringen. Obwohl nach Thanksgiving fahr ich auch für zwei Tage nach Lititz und werd endlich wieder Ashley und Les sehen :)
So far so good... Ich wünsch euch eine gute Nacht, auch wenn ihr alle schon schlaft lol.

Hi,how I envy you for being able to go to Barnes and Nobles - my favorite bookstore from way back!! I can easily spend four hours there, too! Speaking of books, I prefer reading in English and besides that, there are more books published in English than in German. I take an extra bag every time I go to the States or the UK and that bag is full of books on my return.
AntwortenLöschenHow was your Thanksgiving? We had a good time over here, too. We spent part of it in the hospital - maternity ward - my shaikha daughter Hakay had a girl! And absolutely everyone, from the top palace police officer to the last Filippina maid and all the Arab girls and women congratulated me on the birth - I am officially one of the five grandmoters who are: the two biological ones, the Filippina nurse who has been with Hakay since she was born, her Arab "second mother" and her German-American mother - me.
Giving birth is strenuous for a shaikha, visitors all day and night long - till one a.m.!! Every visitors gets a gift with a thank-you note for the visit. You are expected to come every day - preferably in a different outfit - so I got three presents - elaborately wrapped chocolates, cake, sweets!
Enough of that, good for you that you are doing so much in physical fitness - how do you like Pilates? And body pump? I still prefer my daily swim and water work-out and my yoga. I do all that at the Palace club - great pool and facilities! That's all - be well, enjoy the weekend with your family. karen
